At LaughN’Learn, our primary goal is to provide a friendly and welcoming environment for your child that inspires a sense of discovery, curiosity, and exploration. Our early childhood center is a place where your child will have the opportunity to learn, play, and grow while feeling safe and secure. We are committed to helping every child discover their abilities and reach their full potential. We do not believe in a 'one size fits all' curriculum; instead, we cater to each child's unique learning abilities.
At LaughN’Learn, our curriculum is inspired by the very best aspects of respected Early Childhood Education philosophies, combining the Montessori method with the Reggio Emilia approach, all while following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). These approaches allow us to identify the needs of each individual learner through their eyes and interests. With the child at the center of our focus, educators, families, and the environment all contribute to a child's growth. We also focus on four foundational conditions that are essential for children to thrive and flourish: Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement, and Expression. We believe that by integrating these educational approaches, our students will excel in their educational journey.
Our Curriculum Director holds a Master's degree in Education from the University of Calgary, Canada, specializing in language and diversity, and has over 15 years of experience in the educational field in both Canada and Oman. During her years of teaching, she recognized that many children do not fit into a standard curriculum. At LaughNLearn, we focus on what each learner is capable of, their interests, and their ideas, then build the curriculum around them. Each learner is assessed and observed, and then provided with an individualized plan to support their growth throughout their learning journey.
Our qualified staff members are carefully selected based on a variety of key attributes. They have years of experience in childcare and are responsible, caring, and creative teachers, who work together as a team to nurture, engage and enlighten your child.
We foster a culture of respect that values differences. Our environment is set up to identify an individual's special needs. Our specialist teacher, who has a graduate diploma in Behaviour Analysis, when required, will liaise with other professionals to provide the required support so that the child and their family can achieve their goals. If we cannot meet the family’s goals, we will do our best to facilitate another solution.
